Small town parish of 600 families seeks a part-time (30 hours), salaried, Director of Music Ministries. Duties include organ/piano accompaniment for three English Masses per weekend, direction of adult choir, development of seasonal children’s choir, oversight, training and scheduling of cantors, planning music for all liturgies, including weddings and funerals, and teaching music in parish school. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy and strong skills in organ, piano, and conducting. Position is available July 2, 2012. Salary range $20,000 - $25,000. World Marriage Day
Sunday, February 12, 2012, 3:00 p.m., Apostles Hall
Join us at an afternoon reception to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage. This social time of community will include good food (with wedding cake, of course!), music, dancing (no skills necessary-only the desire to have fun!), and . . . well you will have to come and see what else! All are welcome! It’s always helpful to know how many to count on, so please RSVP to any of the Target Marriage Focus Group member couples: Dan & Cathleen Kornacki, Rob & Connie Musser, Jerry & Yolanda Preston, Sue & Phill Wizorek, or John & Toni McKay.
Date Night for Married Couples!
The Target Marriage Focus Group would like to arrange a date-night for you! How about dinner and a movie! We are inviting married couples to come together with other married couples to prepare and share a meal, followed by a movie. The details are currently being sorted through, but we are offering two opportunities to gather: Sunday, March 18, and Sunday, April 22, 2012, both beginning around 4:30 p.m. Location will determine the number of couples that we can accommodate at each gathering, so space may be limited! Let us know which date you would like to attend and put it on your calendar! More opportunities will be added if necessary. Child care is being arranged for! We look forward to celebrating and strengthening the Sacrament of Marriage through this opportunity.
